![]() ![]() Having raised the ticket, the autoresponder says they'll be back to you within 24 hours! On arriving in the destination country, I called the emergency number, again detailed in the correspondance, and was told all will be fine go to the desk and they will have sorted it all out. You call their UK number, go through the options to be told their staff now work from home so can't answer the phones! Instead, they ask you to raise a support ticket online instead. On having one flight cancelled and then the second delayed by 4 hours I followed the methods set out on their correspondance to try and inform them of the changes. Where it all went wrong was the lack of customer support. I was impressed by the booking process and early correspondance. Our shuttle to & from our hotel was booked through a travel agent so we stupidly assumed it was a reputable service only to find out after our disastrous experience with them, similar reviews for these cowboys! Firstly they were late to the airport to pick us up then we were dropped at a bus stop 300 metres from our hotel with no instructions about where we would be picked up for our return, in fact we didn't recieve any email or text with our pick up time which according to their original email would be sent to us 24hrs before our return flight! All numbers including their emergency number rang out & when we filled out the form online relating to queries we had about the service we recieved a generic email stating that as we booked through a travel agent they couldn't help us? Despite having a booking reference etc!! At this stage we were livid, we had to wait till the following morning to contact our travel agent who couldn't understand why we hadn't been sent our pick up details and sent us the confirmed pick up time they had recieved which again didn't state where we were to be picked up from and was 2hrs 35 mins before our flight, bearing in mind this was during rush hour traffic and airlines had been asking people to arrive 3 hours before the flight so needless to say we weren't taking any chances & instead booked a taxi to the airport & vowed never again to use this incompetent, diabolical excuse for a company ever again! If I had no other choice I'd sooner walk to the airport than use Hoppa shuttles service again! As the taxi stopped outside airport my daughter and I ran into airport to check if flight was okay whilst my husband got our luggage from boot of taxi and we didn't risk missing our flight to get a receipt then Hoppa wouldn't reimburse us for what we had paid them for our transfer fee or taxi fare which was almost 50 euros without providing them with taxi receipt when they must surely have had a record of not being able to collect passengers that they were supposed to. To add to this we were left with no time to get food, or even use the toilet before boarding the plane as we had to go straight to the gate and had the stress of thinking were were not going to make our flight. This was a struggle as there was no availability and we had to scramble for euros to pay for it having to use our 7 year old's money that she had kept to buy a teddy at airport. After a further wait we got a call to say driver would not arrive for us in enough time to get to airport for our flight and advised us to get a taxi. They said to wait further as driver was en route but was delayed. ![]() We contacted Hoppa after waiting 15 minutes past the time at our pick up point. ![]() Do not use this company! We were left stranded and told to make our own way to airport on our return home at a very late stage. ![]()
